Honestly, not feeling too great, trying to memorise theorists at this point, I feel the weakest in questions 3 and 4, does anyone have any tips?

thanks, but i'm looking for last year (2023) specifically and it's not on there yet because aqa are weird about when they release past papers. just want to know what topics were covered in 2023 as they're probably less likely to use them again the year after. thanks again for trying to help though

last year had two texts about the snowflakes of newer generation, with an article about new 'things' into the language because the other article was about full stops ruining language. i wrote about charles hockett, subsatrum and fluctuation theory etc (i did this in jan mock). the first two i forgot one but the one i answered was about code switching being beneficial or something, i wrote about class, gender, teenspeak etc. was a dream question ngl

that first question is amazing omg, i'm so annoyed it probably won't be accent and dialect this year! hoping for a gender question and praying for anything but an occupational language question 🙏🙏🙏

idk why everybody hates occ lang so much... its my favourite. and there's never been a proper dedicated question on it, so it might come up.

i just find it kinda awkward to write essays about, it feels like i don't know enough specific theories to be able to argue points properly!

at most it can be used as supporting evidence in language change essays but I don't really think it's that essential

I'm hoping its anything but world English because that is the bane of my existence...

I'm hoping that too! By the way is it true that in section A, there's always going to be a question on Language change and diversity, not 2 diversity or 2 change questions? Since you get to pick one?
