MSc Dietetics Funding

Hello,

I have graduated with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Manchester University.
I am looking to apply for the MSc in Dietetics at Manchester Met or Sheffield Hallam, and would like to know if this pre-reg course means I can still get two years of full undergrad funding, despite already having taken out a SFE loan.

I would appreciate any clarification

Hi Rebecca,

Dietetics is an Allied Health Profession (AHP) course so would be eligible for the support.

Thanks, Ross

If you went to study dietetics at UCL where the tution fee is 12,000. Does SF cover the cost of this or is it only 9250?

Yeah I believe so. It says you then get registration with the dietetics board.

Do you have the means to check that your end too?

If it's pre-registration then this would be funded by Undergraduate so the Tuition Fees should be £9250.

Thanks,
Ross

It says online that UCL is pre-reg dietetics but the fees are $12,700? Would you only get $9250?

At both kings (pre-reg too ) Could I also ask that because the course is “long” it is 11 months rather than the standard 30 week course . Would the living cost loan be higher than the tables provided to allow for extra expense because of how long the course is?

Thanks Jason. But it says on the website that it’s pre registration but fees are $12700. Maybe I’ll email them to check? Could ou please answer my question about about long term study course and extra funding

Hi rebecca678sd,

If the course is extended beyond standard term dates then you may be eligible for a Long Course Loan to cover this.

Thanks,
Calum
