swiftie's gyg - gotta be an academic weapon!

hey guys, i've been wanting to start a gyg blog for a little while but wasn't exactly sure how it worked! but here i am anyways, i'm sure i'll work it out:smile:

little bit about me - i love to write, i'm an activist and have been for the past 6 years, i love to cook and am always down for a chat so feel free to pm, i love making study buddies!

study facts about me:
- i'm in year 12 studying english lit, philosophy, and politics
- i'm currently predicted AAB, but i really want to be predicted A*A*A!
- my parents said if i get 3 a*s they'll let me get my hair redyed lol so that's a hope but i'm trying to be realistic and i know A*A*A is already one grade higher in all my subjects
- i've left revision a little bit late and my first mock is in less than a week! so this blog is hopefully going to make me very accountable lol
- i only revised the night before all my gcses and got 99988777776 so i think i got a bit complacent but one look at the content to study for the mock and i am worried lol
- i really need good predicted grades because i want to apply to cambridge to study hsps, but i also have my eye on other unis such as durham, ucl, leeds, etc.

i think that's all! feel free to respond / pm id love to get to know people in this community and (hopefullyyyy) get my grades up!

also for more context, my B is in philosophy, but i'm currently really struggling with politics revision - there's so much content!😰

today 10th april:

finish reading the textbook chapter for parliament (politics) and watch a couple videos on the constitution

finish reading the revision guide chapter for perception as a source of knowledge (philosophy) and try to recall all the arguments and counter arguments

read 9 chapters of dracula by bram stoker (english)

read some examiners' reports perhaps
i hope i complete it! it seems a bit overwhelming but i'm sure i can power on<3
