Choosing unis is defo a personal decision rather than letting other people tell you what they prefer. i applied to aero too and one thing I liked was looking at all the labs so if you haven't visited I would say go on the 'offer holders days' as they can really help.
Theres some other things too like where do you wanna go? Are you gonna have to move out / want to move out. What is the student accoms like at them all? And the grades needed too? I would defo put a higher grade needed one at firm and then a lower for insurance just in case.
Its feels like a pretty big decision but in the end you will have a blast wherever you end up and meet great people. Just choose whatever gives you the best gut feeling

issue is i cant go for offer holders days because i dont live in the UK... uni of liverpool has a higher entry requirment but its also far from london, thats one of my main concerns but course wise and everything theyre both similar but liverpool is a bit more expensive, have u studied at either liverpool or surrey?

I'm going to uni next year too so I haven't studied in either but I'm from the north west quite near Liverpool. If getting too and from London is a worry the train from lime Street to Euston is really quick and relatively easy. I'm not sure price wise on either so that's definitely something to research and look at the student accommodation.

Congratulations on receiving offers to study Aerospace Engineering! All the offers you have received are good options to choose from. I wanted to provide some insight into the University of Surrey, which might help you in your decision-making process.

Our Aerospace Engineering course is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS). It's worth checking if the other courses you've been offered have the same professional recognition to register as a Chartered Engineer later.

Our Aerospace Engineering course is ranked 10th and 12th by the Times and the Complete University Guide 2024, respectively. We cover all aspects of the design and application of aircraft and spacecraft. Although this is a very broad field, you can specialize in areas that interest you as you move into your third year. You can find out more information about the contents of your course here.

We offer all our engineering students the option to undertake a placement year, which can be essential in gaining industry experience. We have partnered with over 2,300 employers locally and globally. Our award-winning Employability and Careers Department can support you with your CVs, cover letters, LinkedIn, mock interviews, and more. As a result, 95% of our graduates are either employed or pursuing further study!

We guarantee accommodation to all first-year students who select Surrey as their first choice, offering a wide range of options to suit different needs and budgets. We have over 6,000 rooms across all our campuses, so you will always find something that suits your requirements. You can find more information about our accommodation options here.

I understand that as an international student, it may not be possible for you to visit the university. However, you can view some of our facilities and accommodation via this link. If you have an Apple device, you can also download our Virtual Tour app here.

I hope that was helpful! If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.

All the best
