I’m 24 and want to apply for an uni apprenticeship without any ucas points

I have GCSE maths C and English C do I have a chance of being accepted? The course is to achieve a level 6 degree in construction quantity surveying. I have 7 years of work experience on construction sites however my qualifications are not high enough to achieve any ucas points. Can anyone advise me on where I stand and what I can do. Thanks!

Do you have an employer - for apprenticeships you need to be applying to them.

It would be a case of having a discussion with employer, you and the university team to see what's possible.

I think the first step should probably be to contact the uni where you would be studying and ask them if they would take you provided you can find an employer. They may well give you some contacts for companies who already send employees to them for their degree. You may even find a uni that would take you full-time (Edinburgh Napier did it when I did my QS degree there many years ago) and you would probably qualify for a maximum grant considering you have 7 years' work experience. Good luck. Feel free to respond if you have any further questions.
