Student finance

Hello, I would like to ask, I have a problem with student finance. I had to send a payslip for the last three months and a contract from work. I have sent these documents. To be sure, I called the student finance and they told me that my Assignment Letter is not accepted because there is no signature and how many hours I worked and other things, but all this information is written there except for the signature. I discussed all this with my agency that I work for and they told me that everything is as it should be and it's fine. So I don't see where the finance student has a problem. The second problem is payslips. They want one payslip for each month or the last 3 months. I sent it, but the lady on the phone said that all payslips must be from one month, but I don't have those because there was no work, I didn't get any shifts, so I only have one payslip for each month for the last 3 months. Any idea how it will continue? I really don't understand thanks

Hi there,

How often do you get paid? Is it weekly, every 2 weeks or every month. This is the evidence we would require:

Last 3 payslips to cover a 3month payment

Contract/employer letter containing the following information:

Start Date

Type of contract

How many hours you work

Rate of pay

Must be signed and dated by yourself/employer

There is no signature on the contract and no one wants to give it to me, that's why everyone from the agency says they can't give me anything else

I get paid every week. But I only worked one week each month because there was not much work, so in 3 months I sent 3 payslips for each month I only worked one week.

Thanks for confirming. It doesn't sound like you'd be eligible for the Migrant Worker support if you can't satisfy the eligibility criteria.

Thanks, Ross

You may be eligible for Tuition Fee support, but not Maintenance Loan as you don't meet the criteria for Migrant Worker.

I understand, and if I don't get a maintenance loan, can I apply for it again in 3 months? or next year?

If you work more and have more evidence then you can look at reapplying later in the Academic Year.
