EXAMPLES!!!!! I cannot stress how important examples are - basically shows your understanding of topics in a real world context. I recommend making a document or flashcards with examples for every topic and constantly revise and update them. The highest scoring answers are generally the ones that include lots of examples
•
Source questions - use as much of the actual source as you can in your analysis, otherwise you won't be able to reach the higher levels of the mark scheme. When doing sources, I tend to highlight quotes in each one and assign 'matching' ones the same colour and makes it easier when I come to writing my actual answer. This is the structure I tend to use for sources that have 2 sources:
•
Introduction
•
provenance - who wrote the source? purpose of the source? etc.
•
para 1 - source 1
•
para 2 - source 2
•
para 3 - source 1
•
para 4 - source 2
•
conclusion
•
All questions - PEAL/PEEL (Point, Evidence, Analysis/Explain, Link back) is a good way to organise your answers and will make your analysis clearer for the examiner, showing that you deserve high marks
•
Revise the content often - seneca learning has an Edexcel politics course too, Ive found the seneca AQA course helpful for summarising content quickly
