sussex uni

I've only been down to brighton a couple of times with friends so i don't know the area enough but i've heard that its suppored to be fun. I might choose sussex but i'm sort of worried about the nightlife as i'm not a massive clubber/drinker, i do quite like the lanes asepect of it but idrk what else there is to do in brighton that i might enjoy. I know social life isn't going to matter alot - in my case anyway becaus my home town is only 2 hours away so if i get homesick, its easy for me but still. This would just be one worry of my plate.
Also was finding a part time job easy to find and if so, where did many people work?
