How far into a relationship do you usually ask about virginity?

How long do you choose to wait before asking your boyfriend or girlfriend about sex, more specifically trying to carefully approach and politely ask if they are a virgin, without just blabbing it out?

When it comes up... Either when talking about previous relationships, or when it becomes awkward when we do stuff.

Bit weird to classify someone as your girlfriend/boyfriend and not know whether they are a virgin, how many people they slept with and all their ex partners line of work. That stuff is a pre requisite.

I wouldn't even consider going on a date with someone who didn't meet my dealbreakers about not waiting until marriage and a sexual history that does not involve paying for sex.
