Electrical installations level 3 OR 2 HELPP

Hey guys,

I am 16 leaving school in July,
I recently applied for an electrical installations level 3 course at a local collage and they have accepted me without having a level 2 first, does anyone know if I should start with a level 2 and then go to a level 3 or jsut start on the level 3.
I didn’t know if you would miss out any core information without doing level 2 or will I be okay?

There’s nothing online about this so any help would be appreciated 😊😊

Ok great. I think you should definitely do it with a college as you can get free training at your age.

But you must start at Level 2 as that is where every beginner starts. Whether they put you on the Level 3 training immediately or not, you will still have to do Level 2 exams to complete your studies. Level 2 tends to be more installation dominated and Level 3 a bit more Inspection & Testing dominated.
