Parents haven't received email to support my application

I completed my part of the application and sfe were meant to send my parents an email to support my application within 24 hours. It has been over this now, and they still haven't received an email (I have checked all inboxes, including spam and junk and it is not there). They definitely do not have a prior account, so I don't know how to proceed with my application. I tried calling the helplnine but this was useless - none of the keypad options were about this and it was impossible to actually get through and talk to an advisor.

Hi there,

This is an error we're aware of, sorry this is happening.

In this case we'd recommend that your parents complete the PFF2 form instead.

You can upload the form on your account, and that's all we'll need from them. The form doesn't need to be signed or dated.

Thanks, Graeme

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Does this mean my parents do not have to create accounts of their own, and where on my account would I submit the form?

Thanks

That's correct, yes - your parents don't need to create accounts. We'll make accounts for them.

When you login it's the option to 'upload supporting evidence'.

Thanks, Graeme

Wouldn't it be a good idea to email out to applicants telling them that there is an issue with emails to financial sponsors?

Both my sons submitted applications on Wednesday and my wife and I haven't received the emails. My sons haven't received anything indicating that there is a problem. Thanks

Hi there,

I can understand your frustration but not all students and sponsors have been affected and this is why we are unable to send out emails to say there is an issue.

Thanks, Drew

Once I uploaded the pff2 was i meant to receive any confirmation? It's been over a week since I uploaded it and my application still says awaiting sponsor details, and that I have actions to complete, with no other news either. Getting worried because I have friends who've applied after me, and have already had letters in the post informing them of how much finance they're eligible for.

Hi there,

Not all sponsors are having the issue. The website does state to upload the PFF2 form to avoid any delays and to ensure this is processed accordingly. Hopefully this is rectified shortly. Thanks, Jason
