Yes but you have to also do the following to maximise avoiding injuries as possible:

proper warm up + cool down
strength training
flexibility + mobility training
proper technique
nutrition/hydration
rest + recovery
regular monitoring + assessment

All of this will help maximise your full potential and help avoid any injuries :smile:
