UCL vs Warwick

Hi can you guys help me choose, I have an offer from ucl for geography and another from Warwick for global sustainable development. I really like both unis, as I know that I will get more connections, opportunities and is higher ranked internationally at ucl, but like the course at Warwick since it is more focused on sustainability (which is what I want to do after I graduate). Which one should I chose?

Warwick obviously because that is the course you want to do. Connections don't magically happen. And they certainly won't happen if you wished you were studying something different. Also, prestige counts for nothing these days. A degree shows you are good at critical thinking and taking exams. Most employers are looking for skills in leadership, team working and specific skills and knowledge.

Good luck!

Oh my god, I'm in the same position as you. Of course for entirely different courses. I'm also considering UCL for the opportunities in London, but the courses offered to me are quite similar. For Warwick, it's English lit and creative writing, and for UCL it's comparative lit. So I could go either way, maybe even to Edinburgh haha.
Even if UCL is ranked higher, I think if you study what you really want and like, everything else will sort itself out because you'll be working hard. Good luck!

Hi there. Just wondering which one you decided to go for. I am reapplying this year, and my options are similar to yours. I would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you!
