warwick vs ucl

Hi can you guys help me choose, I have an offer from ucl for geography and another from Warwick for global sustainable development. I really like both unis, as I know that I will get more connections, opportunities and is higher ranked internationally at ucl, but like the course at Warwick since it is more focused on sustainability (which is what I want to do after I graduate). Which one should I chose?

The degree course is the most important thing - if that's Warwick, then forget UCL because it wont give you any extra 'advantage'.

Choose Warwick if you prefer the course there. The uni's rankings are pretty much equal and so are the course's opportunities. You can find many connections at any top university if you put in the effort to.

ucl is 9th globally but warwick is 67th globally- there’s a big difference so do you think it’ll matter later on? also ucl is in london which is a financial hub

needless to say, studying in the capital city is not an instant +1 on your CV unless you know what to do about it

The Times global ranking list, for example, has 1908 unis on it. So if you boil that down to percentages, that's like saying UCL is joint no.1 and Warwick is something like 3.5th. Not such a huge difference!

Global sustainable development sounds great. If you're interested in sustainability, London may not be a very comfortable place to live.

Hi I also got an offer from UCL for their arts and sciences degree as well as Sustainable development at Warwick.....I ended up choosing Warwick because it's more focused on sustainability which is also what I want to do! Also the option to 2 semesters abroad in year two at Warwick sounded amazing.
