Spanish Speaking GCSE

Hello everyone.
I've got my Spanish speaking GCSE in less than a week. I aim to get a grade 9 in Spanish because I've been getting 8's since the beginning of year 10, but the one thing really bringing down my grade is speaking. I was wondering if anyone knew what I can do to get higher marks in the speaking exam.
Thank you.

For speaking exams, I advise you to memorise + expose yourself to numerous types of vocabulary (you never know what might come up! Every word is important.)

Moreover, I find it useful to have a friend that speaks the language and start a conversation with them - so that they can correct your mistakes as you speak with them.

Goodluck!!

firstly, good luck. I did my Spanish GCSE last year and I really struggled as I get nervous speaking in English, let alone another language. The advice my teacher gave me which worked well was to not stick entirely to what you've already come up with. have a rough plan on what you want to say but don't stress yourself out by trying to stick to it. If you get stuck just use any knowledge you have of other words/vocab to complete the sentence/question and try and stay calm
