I've got an unconditional offer from both Warwick and Durham to study finance this year but I'm not sure which one I should choose? Does anyone have further insight?

Hiya,
Congratulations on your offers! I can't speak on what the course would be like at Durham, but what I can say is the collegiate system at Durham does make it quite special. The collegiate system gives students a sense of belonging and community, and an opportunity to meet students from all backgrounds, courses and course levels + You get the chance to be part of a college JCR (which a lot of students love taking part in), college formals and balls, college days, etc. Durham is quite opportunistic in the sense that we have a great variety of extracurriculars (Sports, Societies/Clubs, Volunteering, Work opportunities, Alumni community) and we have an amazing careers & enterprises team to support students with internships, part-time jobs, job interviews, CV's and any future career prospects!
In terms of Durham as a whole, it is quite a small city which may be suffocating for some people but it is quite quaint and picturesque for others. We have a great selection of local shops and cafes you can spend your free time in or study in but not that much to do. But Newcastle is 10 mins by train for a great night out and shopping. So you do get the best of both worlds 🙂
If you'd like to see what life is like at Durham, you can watch some of the student content on life at Durham! THE DURHAM STUDENT
You can also speak to students directly on UniBuddy, particularly people studying Finance to get a better feel of what your life at Durham could be like😁 UniBuddy
