He’s losing interest?

I’ve been talking to this guy for about a month, though we’ve been friends for longer. For the last couple of weeks he’s been pulling away massively, leading me to think he’s lost interest - he hasn’t been texting me nearly as much, and has not tried to initiate any meet-ups. I’m really upset about it but I just want to know what I should do - I want clarity but I also want to try and save our relationship/friendship if possible, so I don’t know whether I should give him space (though I have been texting him much less frequently recently and this doesn’t seem to have worked) or whether I should ask him what’s going on? Or should I ask to meet in person and hope we can sort things out? The only issue is I don’t want to come off as desperate as last time I asked to meet he said he was busy and hasn’t tried to reschedule. Any advice would be helpful :smile:
