Being trans and playing sports at university

hey i just have a question. i’m starting university in September and i have been looking into sports at university and i am thinking of starting rugby. i am just wondering how accepting unis are about trans guys in a team?. i am still waiting to start t but i should only just be on it by the time i start. can anyone help ?? 😭😭

If they don't let you play as the gender you identify as, gather a bunch of people who either have faced the same problem or feel solidarity for the issue and do a walk-out protest.

Hi,

I’m not sure about the university you’ll be going to but if this is something you’re concerned about, then it might be worth emailing the university ahead of time to discuss this, or ask them to get in touch with the sports society’s leader to question this.
