Sonography
I currently work as a physio but am looking at going into sonography. My local trust run a trainee program and anyone with HCPC, NMC registration can apply.
I’ve read a lot about the role of sonography and I have a little experience observing scans and also having them done myself but I worry this will not be enough experience. I don’t think I will be able to get anymore shadowing before the application deadline.
Any advice on what I can do to boost my application?
Anyone here work as a sonographer?
Should I apply in a years time after I have secured some more work experience?

You should probably wait until next year especially if you don't have much experience, its a VERY competitive program especially if it's paid by your trust. you can probably expect a lot of Radiographers, Midwives , Nurses and others who have more suited experience going for it too
