The Student Room Group

I regret the accommodation I chose for LSE

I booked passfield but I've heard bankside is the best for social life now and I feel like I'll miss out on the experience now

Also I'm quite introverted and socially anxious and I want to change that but I'm scared I won't make friends, go out and stuff

any advice?

Maybe see if you could switch accommodation if there’s availability ?? i relate to same thing with the introversion and social anxiety (ur not alone😭) and I’ve booked Bankside . But I’m sure you’ll have a good experience wherever you choose as long as you try be involved and stuff

I think you have to cancel current booking on LSE student accommodation system and then try rebook. However, this can be risky as if there's no availability at Bankside you cant guarantee your old accommodation back, and may lose room, availability is really limited, so its up to you whether you're willing to risk it? But again im sure any accommodation will have social aspect so maybe check some reviews for pass field halls or hear what past students had to say to help make final opinion, the student reviews are rlly helpful.

If you dont mind me asking btw, what course have you applied for? Maybe see if you can join some gcs for your course at your accommodation if that helps. Best of luck!!!

is your room an en-suite or shared bathroom? If its an ensuite I would be very happy to swap as I have a large Bankside room I just booked!!
