Hamilton olympiad

How important Is the result for it? What are the benefits of doing good on it? (Also, I've found that there are so few posts about Hamilton olympiad, how so?) And if you did Cayley/Hamilton/Maclurian olympiad this year, I'm really curious how it went for you!

The Olympiad results do not matter at all, in terms of academics. I took Hamilton last year and MacLaurin this year. I got a low score and nothing happened... so the result is not really important, what is important is that you tried it since it is so difficult. If you did very well you might get invited to a math camp at Oxford or Cambridge, and it gives you something nice to include on your uni application. I hope this helps!
