Picking A levels

I want to study anthropology at uni, I will take biology a level and classical civilisation, but what else do I pick?
I was advised to take maths to help with biology and physics, but do I really need maths A level?

My top universities don't have any required subjects for anthropology the most they need is good English gcse grades so I don't know what would be best :frown:

I’m unclear on which ones you already want to pick, could you clarify this? What are your current subjects and predicted grades? What subjects does the sixth form you hope to go to offer?

I definitely want to pick classical civilisation and biology. Predicted grades: English lit(8) english lang (8) , maths(7/8) , biology (8- last mocks I had 9) , physics(7) , chemistry (6), further maths (4), French (6) , sociology(8), media (8) and history I have not been told. The sixth form has a really wide range only ones that are missing are english language and philosophy

I would suggest taking Sociology as it is recommended as a strong a level to have for studying anthropology on the uni guide and links strongly to that area of study. Other than that if you’re disinterested in sociology I would recommend maybe taking history or just whatever subject you find the most interesting outside your aspirations, make sure if that is the case it isn’t a particularly challenging subject for you as you’ll want to dedicate more time to subjects relating to anthropology.
