when do people move into york accom?

Hi just wanted to ask when around people plan to/ people have and recommend moving into their uni dorms and like what time period (specifically york) like i know the first semester apparently starts sep18th is this move in? Also, since i have an unconditional offer wouldn't i expect to hear back about accomodation before others or do i wait for results day?
