Hi, I do Romeo and Juliet, An Inspector Calls, Pride and Prejudice and Power and Conflict Poems. Does anyone have any predictions for the 2024 English Literature Paper? If so, please do tell them to me, would be very helpful. Thanks in advance. I do AQA btw

I've heard possibly the Nurse or friar Lawrence and how they contributed to the tragedy, or just their roles as Romeo/Juliets closest adults (how the nurse is a mother figure for Juliet ect... )

Romeo and Juliet:
•Aggressive male behaviour (Mercutio, Tybalt, Romeo; contast to Benvolio)
•Relationship between Nurse + Juliet / parents
•Fate influencing love and death (Romeo / Juliet)
•How far is Friar Lawrence presented as a good character?
•Role of women in society
I am mainly revising fate and aggressive male behaviour because you can talk about their conflict and juliets internal conflict.

An Inspector Calls:
•Gerald
•All women in society
•Mr Birling

Power and Conflict:
Storm on the Island has never come up and neither has the power of nature
Exposure-power of nature
emigree or checking out me history

For romeo and juliet i think it may be fate or conflict, maybe parental relationships too. Mercutio would not come up because he is not a character that changes and develops and he dies halfway through the play, it would make sense if he was linked to a theme like male honour etc. I recommend heavily revising for fate and conflict
