Yes you can apparently. I remember seeing a few posts on here from February, about how people applied on results day and got in without having to take a test because of their results, and some were later called in October for an offer to come enrol (as of course some people may drop out). Many people will not meet the standards, and some may not come to the school and claim their place as Hwsf may be their second choice. Therefore you have a 50/50 chance of getting on results day. I think it’s best if you go to the school on results day, and show your results. If they’re outstanding you might get a place! What grades are you on now?

I think a lot of spaces will get freed if people who have the place don’t end up going to Harris Westminster, so there’s still a chance. Just wait until results day

To be quite frank, HWSF isn’t a sixth form if you want to go for oxbridge or maybe even a russell group. The teachers overwork you (hence alot of students drop out the first term) and the students here are really competitive which tends to not be the best for mental health.Furthermore, ending school at 4:10 is really exhausting especially if you live far.

hellooo! sorry for the late reply, but yesterday i got my results with eight grade 9s and one grade 8!! i was considering sending my results there or going to the school but in the end i chose to enroll into my sixth form so i could study my 4 a levels without the overload from hwsf. alsooo, when i appealed, their case stated i 'lack academic aptitude', so i can already tell what kind of environment that school hass..

Oh , makes sense! Congratulations! I’m struggling on whether to choose HWSF or another sixth form that’s selective, because from what I’ve heard Harris Westminster isn’t the best environment, and a lot of students drop out in the first term which is very telling. The fact they even said that when you appealed speaks volumes. But good luck with the future !
