i think i have depression, but im also in y11...

i don't really have anyone to talk to about this but i feel like i cant speak to my mum who i normally would because she would try to get me help which is great and all but i don't want it to eat into my revision time since i have exams in 4 weeks. any advice on how to deal with this alone would be much appreciated

Hey, sorry you feel like you can’t see speak to your mum. I know she would only want the best for you. Depressions a tricky one, but I’m super glad you still want to do well for your exams! I would recommend getting the headspace app to help calm the thoughts and practice lots of mindfulness. Get yourself out on walks, even with exams coming up, you can’t allow the brain to be so tightly compacted with revision etc. Try talk to some friends you trust and I’m sure they’ll help you figure out what’s causing it. Year 11 was rough it’s a lot of pressure but just remember in a few months it’ll be done and you can look forward to what’s next.
If the depression gets too much please speak to someone. It’s not worth suffering alone. Just some general advice from someone’s who’s been there. Good luck

Speak to your family.

Maybe you can contact your school counselor.
