Completed all current actions

My daughter applied for finance for 2024/25 (2nd year). I received the standard email asking if I wanted to support her application, I clicked the link, logged on, but received a message stating I had already completed all of the required actions. However, this refers to academic year 2023/24. I can't find any reference or link for the correct year. Can you please advise how we can move forward?

Hi Jen,

Can you see an option to 'support a new application' on your account? Normally, if you click this you'll be able to provide your income details there.

Thanks for the response.

No, not 'support a new application' specifically, but I did find one on my account to provide new financial information to support for 2024/25 (I'm using a mobile device rather than a computer, don't know if that makes any difference?)

I clicked that link which took me to a page where I had to enter my daughter's reference number and our relationship. This then advised that she'd submitted a claim for 2024/25 and to provide my financial information for 2022/23 if I wished to support her application. I clicked to proceed and this time I had to enter my daughter's reference number and DOB. The following page I received a message stating "we can't find your application right now", so I'm still unable to progress.

I've asked my daughter to log into her account to double-check the status. It confirms her claim for 2024/25 has been submitted and the only outstanding action is "Awaiting sponsor details". This would be just my information, as her father is deceased. I did not experience any difficulties last year.

Any further instructions as to how we can resolve would be appreciated.

If you're having online issues when trying to support online then there is an alternative.

To resolve this, you would need to complete a paper PFF2 form which can be located under the 'form finder' section online or by clicking this link https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/support-your-child-or-partners-student-finance-application-2024-to-2025
