Can I change course after firming it?

I firmed an offer from the University of Nottingham to study Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence. However, I realised I want to switch to just Computer Science.

Will I be able to change? If the university agree, how will it work on ucas? I've already firmed the offer so how would I be able to see the change?

‘Here’s what to do if you change your mind:
If you replied to your offers in the last 14 days, contact one of our advisers to make any changes to your replies.
If it’s been more than 14 days since you replied to your offers, there is a more detailed process you need to follow. As you’ve agreed to a contract with your chosen uni or college, it may be possible, but we are unable to guarantee you can change them. You’ll need to speak to them about changing your replies, and then call us, to let us know what you want to do.’

That guidance is more to do with swapping firm
and insurance choices.

For a change or course at a current choice they just need to speak to that uni directly. The 14 days doesn’t apply here.

Yep

As long as they agree and make the change before mid July

Ah great thanks. So just to clarify even though I’ve firmed the course at that uni, if they agree to change, the change will show on ucas.

Thanks for the clarification!

Hi! Email [email protected] providing your UCAS ID number and requesting a course change and they will look into whether this is possible for you. If it is possible, your current offer will be replaced with the new offer

Hello, thanks for the response. I did this a couple days ago and they did in fact change my course.

Thank you though.
