Deciding Between Degree Apprenticeships and University Courses

I'm currently exploring degree apprenticeships in audit and university programs in economics, but I'm uncertain about which path to pursue. If I opt for an apprenticeship, will it confine me to accounting, potentially limiting my options? I'm also intrigued by the actuarial field, but I'm aware that the ACA qualification carries significant weight.

Hello, absolutely not, ACA is very broad, there’s many exit opportunities into banking but after the apprenticeship you’ll need to transfer to Deals Advisory/ Corporate Finance/ Transactions/ Restructuring. There are Actuarial apprenticeships about from WTW also but they’re level 4. Some audit firms have actuarial services as well so you can also internally transfer to them, if you network.
