Love the uni, starting to hate the city. What should I do?

I went to the UCL offer holder day today and I loved it. I feel like the uni is in a mini bubble since most of the buildings are right next to each other. *However* the spell I felt like I was under disappeared as soon as I got like a 5-10 minute walk away from the cruciform building, it was so busy. My heart rate went up to 176 because I was so nervous just walking around. I felt less claustrophobic at my first concert.

It made me realise I love the *idea* of London more so than actually being there and walking around. I felt overstimulated, crowded, and lowkey judged lol maybe I should have worn some nicer clothes. I’m not sure if I felt this way because I was alone or if it’s a sign that I won’t enjoy my time there. Other than being overwhelmed with how busy London can get, I genuinely love everything else about UCL. Is this something that students eventually get over or does it get worse when you move into your clinical years and start seeing patients in clinical (busy) settings?
