applying for bursaries without getting a loan.. help?

Hiya, I have got an offer for vet med at bristol uni. I am eligible for both student finance loans and the bristol bursary, but I dont want to take the loans due to the interest. I was told I could apply for student finance but set the loan to £0 so they could still send my details to bristol so I would qualify for the bursary, but when I applied to student finance, it said since I had set the loan to £0, it would delete my application.. What am I supposed to do? Thanks
