How valuable are maths olympiads when applying for physics?

For background: I'm currently a year 10 student and not fully sure what I want to do yet. It is likely to be something physics or chemistry related (and quite unlikely to be maths).

So I'm curious, how valuable would be my maths olympiad results(Such as BMO1 and 2, Hamilton, Maclurean next year) when applying? As I'm trying to figure out how much these achievements are actually helpful when applying not for maths. Would be really grateful for any replies! Thanks

Hi, they should be helpful, as they are supercurricular showing your knowledge is beyond your course and your problem solving skills are good. Also you are applying for related courses e.g physics and chemistry where a lot of maths is required.
