Choosing Subjects for S5 to study Software engineering in the Uk

I was wondering what subjects I need to choose to become a software engineer in the Uk. I checked my University of Choice which is University of Glasgow but It didn't say to much about specific subjects other than Maths Higher and Computer Science Higher. There were only one issue with that though I didn't choose Nat 5 Computer science so I wasn't able to choose it now. The subjects I might choose are (Maths, English, Admin and IT, Biology, and Modern Studies) am I able to become a software engineer with these?

Of course. Just probably not at Glasgow. There are other universities though so it isn't the end of the world. Of course, if you have your heart set on a specific course, then perhaps you should pick your choices accordingly.
