I'm sorry to hear this :frown:

The economy is in a recession at the moment and of course, we have all felt the squeeze of the cost of living crisis. This all means there are less jobs around and more people interested in them (particularly the jobs traditionally taken up by university students).

I'm afraid there's not an awful lot you can do other than keep trying. Also, try to find jobs in your university or student union - they will be much more understanding about the lack of experience than anywhere else. Another thing you can do is set up an appointment with your university's careers/employment services. They should be exceedingly happy to go over your CV and job applications to see if you're doing anything wrong or if there's anything extra you can do to stand out

Have a look on websites such as indeed.com
Look on companies own websites- some companies such as tesco, mcdonalds etc have their vacancies on the careers section of their website.
Also try fast food places such as mcdonalds, they take on a lot of students.

Join job agencies, they have many jobs advertised and a much better route than applying online at companies.

Agencies always need workers.

Believe there's a Facebook group called Leeds Bar Grafters that basically connect and support you with hospitality work, may give them a call
