Sports elitism?

Hi, I am currently trying to choose between bath and york for my firm choice. So far they are completely equally match in my opinion, but I just had a quick question. Bath has a huge focus and reputation for sports. As someone who isn't at all sporty, is there any elitism within the university for not participating in or being interested in sports? Thanks in advance

It's only got a strong sports programme for those involved in elite sports. It no more influences your degree and time there than having an elite Latin department might influence Physicists.

Thanks for the reply, I should have phrased my question better, but I was wondering if there was elitism within students- I know everyone is individual but if there was a particular culture of judging non- sports focused people

It isnt like USA Unis where everyone is a 'jock' so don't worry.
Like all Unis, some people play sport, and get up at daft times to train etc.
Most people don't.

PS. The pool is fab for a lazy Sunday morning swim.
