Attending the Crown court- public gallery

Hi, i'm wondering how you would go about attending the court for public viewings? I'm studying law and would like to visit but unsure how to go about it...
Oxford Crown court is my nearest and i'm a bit nervous as i have not done this before. I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this, how did you find it? Is there any formalities?
