Manchester Met Accommodation

Hi!

I recently firmed my offer to study fashion at MMU starting this September. I had my offer back in January, but I was waiting on other replies which only came through this week, so I hadn't been able to access the accommodation portal until yesterday.

I'm really uncertain on which accommodation to pick, as the MMU-ran ones I like aren't available at this moment and I've heard mixed reviews for the partner-owned ones.

I would really like a quieter accommodation thats fairly close to the uni and has lift access as I have a disability (ME) that makes every day a bit of a struggle. I also do not want to share a bathroom. My top budget for this is £200pw, I cannot afford to go anywhere that is more than that.

Does anyone who currently studies at MMU have any recommendations? Should I wait to see if my preferred accommodations come up on the portal or book through Unite or IQ?

Thanks!

Hi @goloppps! Please feel free to contact the accommodation team directly on [email protected] or 0161 247 2958 who can help find the most suitable accommodation based on your needs. They typically reserve rooms for students with disabilities to ensure accessibility needs are met🙂 - Chloe

Hi there,
Have you heard of MSV? It has lift access, they are private halls neighbouring the Manchester Met ones? They are lovely halls and commonly have 4 rooms per flat.
Best wishes

Hi there, I have a room booked at Artisan Heights for September but I’m no longer attending uni. Please can you help me in how I get people to take over this lease? Unite students have been rubbish in helping me with this and I’m really stressed about it. Thank you
