Which Uni for psychology

Had offer for Bath Spa and Durham, only 1 grade difference, for psychology course. Which would you choose?

Have a look at the modules on their websites and see which ones you are most interested in. Have a look at the campuses and which you think you'd prefer. You'll be at this university for 3 years so it's important you do what's right for YOU not what's right for other people. University is what you make it, you'll be able to make a career from whichever you choose (but remember for a job in psychology you need more than just an undergrad)

If you can't work out the answer to this yourself, you belong at Bath Spa.

Hi there! Honestly when it comes to that, often it comes down to what you personally value as a student. But some suggestions might be the location, affordability, accomodation quality, student life, student support, career support etc. When I had to weigh down two universities it helped to write down the pros and cons of each university.

Has to be Durham. There’s no comparison.

Durham is much higher ranked, I’d firm Durham and put Bath Spa as insurance unless you already have an alternative insurance option.

On the flip side of things, for psychology there isn’t a whole lot you can do with the degree unless you get a masters. So i’d prioritise where you think you’d be happiest rather than ranks, and go elsewhere for the masters.

Both good Universities, have you been down to have a look at them both? I know a lot of psychology students who went to Durham and had a great time. For any provider, check out their Teaching Excellence Framework Report, readily available online.

If anyone is interested in doing a psychology degree or masters online / blended learning, Arden University have a great flexible program there.
