Feelings

Hi, so recently I got a chance to visit my family in a different city for a week. I've done this for about 4 times so I thought that by now I'll adjust to the sudden change and the feeling of loneliness after going back to uni. But the thing is, the moment I arrive to my Uni's city, I have an unbearable feeling of emptiness and loneliness although I've called both my mom and aunt about 6 times in the span of 5 hours. I am really annoyed bcs I don't know how to resolve this feelings. Anyone hv tips?

I'm sorry you have to face this sick feeling of loneliness!
I go to a boarding school and have shared the same feelings 3 years ago. I overcame these feelings by slowly counting the days or weeks until I could return to visit my family (in another country, a 14-hour flight away).
I would advise you to try to find happiness or a source of joy in something around this city - it could be friendships, a hobby, a personal project, a sport, clubs, etc... This can help distract you from the feelings of sorrow and turn to a phase of joy instead.

I wish you all the best, good luck.
