Arkwright Engineering Scholarship Query

So I'm in Y11 and I recently did the whole process for the Arkwright Engineering Scholarship, but I have a feeling that I might want to apply for Computer Science at university instead of engineering.

If I get the scholarship, is there still any value in mentioning it on my personal statement, say if I want to apply for CS at Oxbridge? Could I link it to software somehow?

I never completed the process so I can't remember if you had to specify what sort of engineering you're interested in, but I know that software engineering was an acceptable thing to be interested in for the scholarship so if you haven't had to specify already you could absolutely use the scholarship as an opportunity to improve your software engineering, and link it to your personal statement that way!
