BTEC to GPA DDD= 4.0???

GUYS

I used 3-4 GPA calculators and put DDD into the calculator for BTECS and it said DDD =4.0 GPA unweighted i want to go to USA for uni so if this is true then its great since i wouldnt need a signle D* and DDD would be the maximum gpa (unweighted)

USA unis look at u hollistically as a person as a whole with different achievements.
in the UK they ONLY look at u academically, so ur exams and grades.
in the US two main things are looked at academically:
GPA:
SAT (or ACT)
a 4.0/4.0 unweighted GPA
plus a good SAT 1400/1450+ would get you in tons of places except the ivies
(where you'd need more EC's and 1560+SAT)

also side question, should i take a an extra a level with my btec? Like an easy a level like socialogy or psychology. just to boost up my application

what abt epq

im considereing either:
BTEC + EPQ
BTEC + ONE a level NO EPQ
or
BTEC + A LEVEL + EPQ
