‘the best way to understand religious language is through the cataphatic way’ Discuss

hi, Iv really struggled with this question and wonder if anyone has an essay plan?

The AO1 is for the cataphatic way - so start the essay with a big chunk explaining that theory.

Then I would choose 2 evaluation paragraphs assessing the cataphatic way.

Notice that the question asks whether the cataphatic way is the 'best way' to understand religious language.

This requires that you compare it to at least one other way - either the via negativa or the symbolic theory.

So choose one more evaluation paragraph for that.

Remember not to go overboard including a lot of AO1 detail for the other theory you bring in. You won't get any AO1 marks for that theory in this question.
