The Student Room Group

how often do you spend socialising (outside of school) with your friends per week?

i (year 13) don't have any friends; in or out of sixth. LSR: joined a diff sixth form as an external student + really struggled to fit in, then drifted from my secondary school friends. not looking for advice on making friends, but instead im curious how often people hang out with their friends, especially coming up to exams? i feel i have a pretty good balance between studying, coursework, school ect alongside my hobbies + sports and genuinely struggle to see how people have time to maintain friendships - maybe that's a little sad. idk.

Rarely lol.
For birthdays we'd meet up and to see movies. But that's it really.

You shouldn't see that as a sad thing tbh.

If you have a good balance just like you said, then in my opinion that's the best thing and the most calmest and I wish I had that lol - so don't worry.

Back to your question tho, I barely hangout with my friends.
