Phd studentship

I applied for PhD studentship in University of East Anglia(UEA) on 8 Jan this year. The deadline was 10 Jan. Since then it has been more than 3 months but I have not got any reply from the university regarding my application. From the portico it only said under review. The phd will start from October. Can anyone tell by what time will I get a reply from the university or should I send them an email?

I’m guessing the PhD studentship is AHRC (judging from the deadline you specified, I maybe wrong) but if so, we should be hearing from them any moment from now (according to the website). If I may, did you get a notification from your school shortlisting you for the next stage?
