Gcse revising

So GCSEs are coming up, and I seriously need some advice on how to revise now.

I had planned out my whole Easter break, but not much went to plan because of sudden family events and just life happening. It's pathetic if I blame my lack of revision on that, so I just need someone to advise me on how I can move forward now.

I don't really have anyone to ask for help, so any kind of help will do!

I got good results in my GCSEs and did fairly little over Easter (I had Silver DofE Practice and Expedition).
I would prioritise doing practice papers in pretty much every subject even if you don't know the content 100% and then reading the markscheme and making sure you understand your mistakes.
There are a few exceptions like History and Latin Literature (in my case) where learning content (and question technique) was more important than labouring through practice papers but in most cases I found doing past papers and analysing what I got wrong was the best strategy.
I also made spreadsheet to analyse what types of questions and what topics I particularly messed up on (waves in Physics was always terrible).
I find memorising information comparatively easy and exam technique more challenging so if you're a different kind of person then these techniques might not work as well for you but they did work for me.
Also, remember you have loads of time between exams to focus on and prioritise each subject. You'll have enough time during study leave to cover what you need to so right now I think it's most important not to panic and to do what you can do (quality over quantity).

By the way, is it OK if you could expand on what you meant by the checklist? Thanks

well I was gonna write out a checklist consisting of 5 subjects and underneath each subject I was going to write 3 things I need to do by the end of the week, but I am just getting checklists online for each subject 😭 here’s one for science https://mmerevise.co.uk/app/uploads/2023/04/GCSE-Combined-Science-AQA-Revision-Checklist.pdf

Sorry I suck at explaining things tbh 💀
