Contraceptive pill caused breast growth

Hi! I've been on a combined pill for about 4-5 months now and I've noticed my boobs have gotten a lot bigger (up from a B to a DD) and so sore - I absolutely hate them, I've never been so insecure in my life. I'm not sure if its 100% the pill (I think I've gained a bit of weight over these months, but not significantly) but I have become so unhappy.

Has anybody else had this - I wonder if switching to a mini pill where there is no oestrogen will reduce this effect? But I'm terrified of taking the mini pill because of the amount of people I've heard who had awful and long periods on it.

I had this when I was on the combined pill. I saw it a better side effect. Little weight gain but down to not controlling my diet and giving in to the cravings. I switched to the mini pill and my breast look bigger and perky, however i started them after an abortion so not sure what’s causing the size. I haven’t had a period yet and I’ve been on it for a while now.

You’ll have to experiment with pills to find the right one but I’d advise you to embrace your double d’s! The soreness goes away I promise. The problem with experimenting pills is the side effects, your current one is a better side effect. One combined pill I tried gave me a hair face and chest but the hair on my head was breaking, a strange effect.

I know telling you don’t be insecure is a useless thing to say but try to enjoy and celebrate them. Hope this helps x
