Reading or Aston for business management

I really dont know which one to decide for my course. Reading seems to have a higher reputation overall but Aston is doing well on their business management course (in terms of ranking)
Which one should I go for?

From what I know Aston incorporates more Maths in their modules. Overall I'd go based on the city, environment and societies. University courses and better/ worse at different unis there's just different modules to choose from to choose a uni with the best modules for you! Hope that helps
Reading is fantastic for business courses because they have Henley business school. I think their ranked 11th in the whole of the UK for marketing, idk about business, and also their business building is extremely modern

Hi there,

Choosing a university for your course is a big decision! As a student here at the University of Reading, I can share some insights into what makes our Henley Business School a great choice! 🙂

Here at Reading we have a global reputation for our Henley Business School, we are No.7 among UK-based business schools and have been awarded by The Financial Times with a Highly Commended Award in the category recognising 'Best responsible teaching resources: innovative materials with a financial sustainability focus'. More of our Henley Business School globally recognised rankings can be found here!

At Reading, your Business and Management course will be taught by a range of experts from Henley Business School with a focus on theory and practice, to their real-world applications. You will study lots of core disciplines such as economics and psychology, as well as theories and concepts such as marketing, international strategy, data analytics and more which are listed here!

A great aspect of Business and Management here at Reading is that you will apply the skills and knowledge you learn to current business issues. Reading is also a great choice due to our flexible study options. On the Business and Management course you have the option to transfer to any specialist pathways such as 'BSc Business and Management (Marketing)' which can be found here, under 'flexible study options'.

There is also the option to do a four year course where you can take on a placement year or study year abroad in the third year. This is great if you want to take your degree to the next level here at Reading!

Our university also has a very supportive community to help you along your academic journey. You will receive support from lecturers, academic tutors, our careers service and more!
