Just in case you don’t get an answer, with it being an older post… here’s my thoughts:

Not a biomedical engineer, but ex-degree apprentice and work for a pharmaceutical company that hires them.

There shouldn’t be any technical questions, and if you’re given technical content, they’ll be more interested in non-technical qualities.

The main concerns, from a research, test, and development view is as follows, including the desired qualities in brackets.

Would this candidate falsify data or fail to document/report failures or abnormal data points (throughness / attention to detail / attentiveness / accountability).

Is this candidate likely to make decisions that aligns with the company ethos (speaks for itself e.g., if faced with an odd result, would you add expense to check over and increase certainty? The answer should be yes)

Does this candidate show passion for the subject, is open to constructive criticism, work well in a team, takes their learning into their own hands, and is likely to actively seek help where appropriate? (Proactiveness, open-minded, etc.,)
