GCSE for med

I got 9998888866 in gcse. Are those strong grades? Which unis accept grades like this for medicine?
I think that universities would accept those grades as they are strong grades, but you would have to do your own research.

Hi there!

These are some great results! I would recommend having a look at each university you are looking at to see there specific requirements as each university will have slightly different entry requirements - for example, some may want them to a high standard whilst others may have specific grades they want!

I hope this helps,

You must be kidding

Why?
yeah as other people have mentioned it really depends on the uni, for example southampton only require at least a 6 in 7 subjects (which you have obv achieved) whereas cardiff essentially require 9/8 in at least 9 subjects. another thing unis have are requirements for specific subjects. kcl require at least a 6 in both maths and english language, however, when deciding who are offered interviews, they do look at all your grades and have their own scoring system. the best thing to do is research throughly and apply based on your strengths (gcses, predicted grades, ucat, etc.)
