Hi,
I think choosing a university is quite personal, and the course rankings and specific modules being interesting to you is very important. But apart from that, accommodation options, cost of living, the cities vibe, and the campus are all very important, so I’d be sure to consider those things when choosing a uni - I’d definitely recommend attending open days.
Good luck!

That’s a bit more tricky, but you could try having a look if the universities do virtual tours or webinars. Also asking questions to the students of the universities you're considering for example on unibuddy, and hopefully chat to someone studying that course. Social media platforms like instagram and student takeovers also may give you an idea about the different unis and courses. Good luck!

Most courses are assessed by a mix of coursework assignments and also exams, however it differs individually about weightings!

As an LJMU graduate, I’d say studying real estate here is a brilliant choice.

First off, LJMU has amazing connections with the property industry, so you’re not just learning from books—you’re getting real-world insight and meeting people who actually work in the field. Plus, the course is accredited by RICS, which is a huge boost for your CV and helps you stand out when you’re applying for jobs.
The learning isn’t just lectures either—you’ll get to work on real projects, go on site visits, and properly get stuck in, which makes it all feel way more relevant. The tutors are super supportive and always happy to help, so you never feel lost or stuck.
And then there’s Liverpool itself—it’s such a buzzing city with loads of opportunities, a great nightlife, and a big property scene, so you’re right in the middle of everything. Honestly, it’s a great place to study, and I’m so glad I chose LJMU.
If you’re thinking about real estate, I’d definitely recommend it! 😊
